Making no noise is great because it allows the unit to be anywhere in the house without making a nuisance of itself.

These units also do well in garages and other areas where temperatures swing dramatically in the course of a day. The cooling system does not get overworked on hot days and will not catch fire or fail as other traditional cooling units have.
